This employee utilizes a high level of professional judgment when reviewing admissions documents and must understand how to accurately interpret programmatic and institutional admissions policies. Participates in admission decision committees as needed. Refers files to colleges for select programs for final decisions. Conducts both criteria-based and holistic reviews of an applicant’s academic record and directly renders admissions decisions for pre-approved programs. Expected to consistently meet or exceed weekly admissions review metrics to support enrollment goals. Utilizes professional judgment during the review process to identify issues with academic performance and escalates concerns to the college and/or committee. Evaluates applicant performance in pre-requisite coursework to ensure the applicant meets admission criteria for the selected program. Calculates both high school and college GPA utilizing knowledge to exclude non-transferable coursework, which varies across programs. This position processes UF Online admissions applications with consideration for the different requirements associated with each applicant level.
